Maintenance Worker I (Venetian Center)
Type: Full Time
Salary/Pay Rate: $15.45 - $22.40 per hour

The purpose of this class to conduct daily operations of recreation facilities including but not limited to the Venetian Center, Rogers Park Pavilion, & others. This class is responsible for set up and break down of scheduled indoor and outdoor activities and events, provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and promote a safe, hospitable environment. The class creates total resident/guest satisfaction with all the events that occur at the Venetian Center and ensures the conformance of Recreation Department and City policies at City facilities by following the required protocols and procedures. The class will also perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: facility maintenance, routine cleaning, painting, power washing and completing logs or routine records. The class works under minimal supervision. Requires High School Diploma or GED; and two years or more of routine manual work experience. Must be able available to work evenings and weekends as required. Requires a valid State of Florida driver license and satisfactory driving record as a condition of initial and continued employment.
