Job Description
The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive safety and training programs for electrical construction operations. This role is critical to ensuring that all operations comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The manager will lead safety initiatives, conduct trainings, and manage compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Safety Program Development
- Incident Investigation
- Risk Assessment
- Training Management
- Regulatory Compliance
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
- Preferred four-year occupational safety/health degree.
- Experience in the construction/industrial safety management
- OSHA 30-hour preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards. OSHA and other state and federal agency guidelines.
- Extensive knowledge of Construction Safety Standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in high production environment (50 hours/week, including weekends may be expected)
- Proficiency in Accident Investigation and Industrial Safety
- Respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
- Ability to make independent judgements to manage and facilitate company programs/policies as they relate to the safety of our work.
- Required to stand, walk, sit and climb stairs or ladders.
- First Aid, CPR, AED Preferred.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
