We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead workforce development programs at the American Job Center. In this role, you’ll guide a passionate team, oversee vital career services, and help connect job seekers with life-changing opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
Manage workforce programs serving adults, dislocated workers, and youth.
Supervise and support career planners and resource navigators.
Ensure compliance with program guidelines and policies.
Approve eligibility, case management, and program expenses.
Drive performance goals related to training, employment, and partner referrals.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational procedures.
Represent the American Job Center at community and employer events.
The Ideal Canidate Will Have:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organization and communication abilities.
Experience in workforce development or human services (preferred).
Results-driven and mission-focused.
Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in public or business administration or related field plus four years of experience in a responsible administrative or supervisory capacity or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities and skills.
