Hours: Full time
Winter Hours (November to April): Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Hours subject to change in an emergency.
Summer Hours (April to November): Monday - Thursday; 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Hours subject to change in an emergency.
This position works out of the Sprague Shop.
Skilled work in the operation of light and heavy trucks including tandem axle trucks having a GVW of 26,000 pounds or more, tractors and other non-CDL rated vehicles, and related equipment.
THIS SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION IS SUBJECT TO MANDATORY DRUG TESTING POLICIES AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.
IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A CDL, PRIOR TO BEING HIRED FOR EITHER ONE OF THESE POSITIONS YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER WITH THE FEDERAL MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY ADMINISTRATION DRUG & ALCOHOL CLEARINGHOUSE AT: https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/register.
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent and 6 months experience in the operation of light and heavy trucks, tractors, and tandem axle trucks, or equivalent.
Necessary Special Requirements: Possession of valid driver's license. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain with 60 days of appointment.
