What are the responsibilities and job description for the Noxious Weed Inspector position at City of Lincoln/Lancaster County?
This is a seasonal position and is not eligible for benefits.
Hours: Full time, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Work involves responsibility for performing field inspections of public and private property in order to ensure compliance with the Nebraska Noxious Weed Control Act and the Weed Abatement ordinance of the City of Lincoln.Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent with 6 months of experience in the identification of noxious weeds and 6 months of experience researching and recording legal descriptions; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Necessary Requirement: Possession of a valid driver's license.
