We are looking for our next Superintendent of Water Distribution. This is highly responsible management level position engaged in operating, maintaining, and growing Lincoln’s water distribution system. Specific responsibilities involve planning and implementing an operating and capital improvements budget with an emphasis on infrastructure renewal, managing and supervising a skilled operations team in a demanding 24/7/365 environment, enforcement of codes and standards with an emphasis on quality control, work and collaboration with developers on system growth related projects, compliance with State and Federal safe drinking water regulations including cross connection control, developing and implementing state of the practice methods and technology, public engagement and presentations, and general customer care related tasks.
