What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Utility Equipment Operator position at City of Lincoln/Lancaster County?
Lincoln Wastewater System is looking for the right person to fill the role of Temporary Utility Equipment Operator. This temporary position requires skilled work performing preventative maintenance, repair, inspection, cleaning, and construction on the wastewater collection system.
This position descends to depths of 20 feet in sanitary sewer manholes or trench excavations by ladder and must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Hours: Full time; Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. This position may be needed the months of May through September.
Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent and at least 6 months of experience in the operation and maintenance of trucks and construction equipment heavier than pickup trucks; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Necessary Special Requirements: Valid driver's license.
