PURPOSE, SCOPE AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, the Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests at the golf course. This role involves handling retail sales, scheduling tee times, maintaining a clean and organized pro shop, and ensuring guests have a positive experience. This position is a seasonal position and is normally employed for six months between April and September.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and assist all customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions for green fees, merchandise, snacks, and beverages using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Schedule and manage tee times efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop and clubhouse area.
- Monitor and restock merchandise, snacks, and beverages as needed.
- Assist in tracking inventory and reporting shortages to the Clubhouse Supervisor.
- Operate the beverage cart, driving throughout the course to serve drinks and snacks to golfers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Ensure the beverage cart is stocked, clean, and in good working condition.
- Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and verify age when serving alcoholic beverages.
- Provide basic information about course policies, rates, and promotions.
- Perform light cleaning duties, including sanitizing surfaces, sweeping, and emptying trash.
- Support clubhouse operations by assisting with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
