Job Summary:

Manages Pulse’s participation in public and special events, working in tandem with other members of the Marketing and Sales teams to support campaigns, to promote products and services, and to cultivate and support the ongoing needs of the utility’s community.

The salary range for this position is $66,900.00- $90,400.00 per year with a hiring range of $66,900.00 - $78,600.00, depending on qualifications and experience.

This opportunity will be available to applicants until Friday, 2.14.25 at 12:00 P.M. M.S.T.

As a Marketing Coordinator – Events, you'll plan and execute impactful events that bring our community together. This role demands strong execution skills, adaptability, and flexibility to ensure every event runs seamlessly. Essential Functions

  • Manage Pulse events, sponsorships, and volunteerism programs by developing plans and budgets in collaboration with the Broadband Marketing Manager, ensuring community giving and involvement align with organizational goals.
  • Research and evaluate opportunities and maintain an up-to-date event calendar.
  • Manage the planning and execution of events including logistics, set-up and breakdown, vendor sourcing and coordination, venue selection, and staffing/volunteer coordination.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging event technologies to continuously enhance event experiences.
  • Become a Pulse ambassador at outreach events, engaging with the community to promote services and ensuring adherence to branding and messaging standards.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for events and sponsorships, conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and ROI, gather attendee feedback, and provide regular performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing and event initiatives.
  • Support execution of large format internal meetings and special events as necessary.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to organize and support field sales events and activities.
  • Oversee the production, inventory management, organization, and optimization of promotional products and event assets.
  • Assist in creating and distributing promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and newsletters, to promote Pulse services, programs, and events.
  • Execute in-market activities such as display home marketing, placing signage when and where agreed upon, door hanging of collateral, etc.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of local communities and share insights with team members to inform strategies.
  • Create and share real-time social media content during events to engage audiences, showcase Pulse’s involvement, and amplify event visibility.
  • Adheres to all company standard procedures, policies, and safety practices while performing work activities.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in In marketing, communications, event management, or a related field required.

Experience

  • 3 years professional event planning and project coordination experience required.

AN equivalent combination of education and or experience may substitute for education requirements on a year for year basis.

Certifications

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

  • Must be able to work a varied schedule, including morning, evening, and weekend hours.

Physical Demands And Working Conditions

  • Frequent light to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks. Frequently works with light objects and light hand tools.
  • Frequent exposure to routine office noise and equipment.
  • Frequent exposure to hazards typically found in general office environments where there is rarely to no exposure to injury or accident.
  • Occasional minimal physical effort typically found in clerical work. Primarily sedentary, may occasionally lift and carry light objects. Walking and/or standing as needed and minimal.
  • Occasional moderate to considerable physical effort that includes working from ladders in awkward positions. Frequent use of light or medium weight objects (e.g., 25-50 lbs) and use of medium weight tools.
  • Occasional exposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements.

Additional Working Demands / Conditions

Many days will be in a typical office environment, which requires some bending and kneeling, sitting for extended periods of time, reaching and repetitive keyboard motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel within the City of Loveland and adjacent areas for engagement work. Will perform work indoors and outdoors in inclement weather conditions and work varied hours during events. Employee will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed to perform essential job functions. Work may involve sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching walking.
