Summer Program Assistant - Seasonal

The City of Madison, SD is accepting applications for a Summer Program Assistant position at our Madison Community Center. This position would be responsible for assisting children in our summer program, activities, field trips, and educational activities. This position is a fun and rewarding summer position!

The work is typically performed indoors and outdoors, working hours can range from 7am-530pm and can be flexible. Hours are scheduled to meet the needs of the community center summer program and for various programs and events to serve the community. The position works with children, youth, adults, employees, and the general public. Applicants must be 16 years of age, responsible, professional performance of tasks, and punctual to have good work attendance. CPR and First Aide certification is preferred, however, applicant must posses / obtain certificate within 90 days of hire.
