Minimum Qualifications of Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota. Professional Engineers licensed in another state will be considered and will be required to become licensed in Minnesota if hired.
- Eight (8) of progressively responsible public works experience that has included a minimum of four (4) years of division level supervisory experience in a small-sized, public agency in a non-union environment.
- Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the job proficiently may be substituted for the above requirements.

General working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., and evening, weekend, holidays, and outside of regular hours as necessary. Must have the ability to field calls after hours as needed.
