The Mason City Parks and Recreation Department is hiring a seasonal Aquatic Center Manager for the 2025 spring/summer season. This dynamic role offers the chance to lead a team and oversee the operations of a busy aquatic facility. Starting wage is $15.00 and up, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise pool operations, ensuring safety and top-notch service.
- Oversee staff training, scheduling, and performance.
- Maintain water quality and manage pool chemistry to meet health standards.
- Coordinate aquatic programs, including swim lessons and special events.
- Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and ready for action—inspect equipment and bathhouse areas.
- Assist with staffing and operations for concessions, rentals, and events.

Qualifications:
- 3 years of pool operations experience.
- Current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications (CPO & Water Safety Instructor preferred).
