What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grant Administration-Grants & Contracts Coordinator position at City of McAllen, TX?
Under the general supervision of the Grant Administration Director, the Grants & Contracts Coordinator provides monitoring, financial and programmatic compliance to the Grant Administration Department. This position provides a primary accounting function to include grant accounting, and financial reports of awarded grants through their final closing. The Grants & Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and reconciling financial transactions related to state and federal grants; maintaining daily grant data; compiling reports relating to grants, and preparing monthly financial statements.
