What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quinta Mazatlan-Custodian position at City of McAllen, TX?
Under administrative supervision, the Custodian performs custodial/janitorial services in and outside of
public areas or buildings including immediate surrounding grounds as assigned. Services include
cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing glass and walls, cleaning furniture, picking up and
removing trash, and minor air condition and electrical repairs. Employee keeps buildings in clean and
orderly condition and cleans offices, halls, bathrooms and both public and employee spaces.
Employee performs routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs.
Employee must abide by safety procedures and has daily contact with the public requiring tact,
courtesy and diplomacy.
