What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Engineering-Designer Subdivision Coordinator position at City of McAllen, TX?
Under general supervision, the Designer / Subdivision Coordinator provides assistance to McAllen Public Utility / City departments under the general direction. The employee prepares technical specifications and contracts, engineering estimates, and design documents for municipal projects. The work provides continuous services to the public, demanding the most tact and diplomacy. Decisions are made daily requiring mature judgement. The employee will prepare design and review documents for water, sanitary wastewater, and other projects. The work is to include review of subdivisions. Employee supervises the issuance of permits for use of municipal right of way Reports to Subdivision Engineer.
