Salary: $16.50/hr. - $18.00/hr. (Depending on qualifications) To supervise, train, and assign staff responsible for providing swimming pool recreation programs within the Swimming Pool Division. To manage the swimming pool facility in the absence of the Swimming Pool Supervisor. All behaviors comply with the Code of Conduct and Rules of Behavior outlined in Chapter 8 of the General Government Policies and Procedures Manual.Assist the Swimming Pool Supervisor plan, prioritize, assign, supervise and review the work of staff responsible for providing pool safety and recreation services within the Swimming Pool DivisionAssist the Swimming Pool Coordinator and Swimming Pool Supervisor in the selection of lifeguard staff; provide or coordinate staff training; work with employees to correct deficiencies.Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives; assist the Swimming Pool Supervisor establish schedules and methods for providing swimming pool services; implement policies and procedures.Observe pool patrons and ensure that pool rules and safety practices are followed.Provide CPR, AED, or first aid as required.Prepare various reports on operations and activities; maintain records of income and attendance totals.Clean pool tiles, decks, drain covers, gutters, and bathrooms, vacuum the pool and perform other pool maintenance duties.Perform chemical tests on pool water.Provide patrons with information regarding the operation and rules of the facility; respond to patron inquiries and concerns; and provide excellent Customer Service.
