This position will report to the Office of the City Manager. The Area Manager will oversee geographical areas within the City and coordinate various community outreach activities and services. This role involves team management, resource allocation, and strategic planning for the City's goals. The ideal candidate has strong communication and leadership skills, is results-driven, and is adept at managing cross-functional areas to support operational tasks.
Employees in this classification will spend the majority of their time in the field, responding to calls or monitoring areas to ensure City streets, parks, buildings, and roadways are in good condition and are expected to use their judgment and take immediate corrective action or call for assistance with complex tasks. Work is performed with wide latitude for independent judgment in selecting work methods and procedures and is subject to review for compliance with and achievement of City standards.

Create, monitor, and follow up on the progress of all City-asset-related service requests as instructed by management
- Responds to community inquiries and briefs staff on matters of public interest and concerns.
Works with internal departments to solve community issues.
