The City of Miamisburg accepts lateral applications throughout the year.

- Complete the Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) that will be emailed to you after you submit your resume on UKG.
- The Interview phase is a panel interview with the HR Director, and 2 police department staff.
- City will then determine whether to move you into the background phase which includes but is not limited to a polygraph test.
- If a conditional offer is made, the candidate will undergo a psychological assessment, a post-offer polygraph and Ohio Police Pension physical with drug screen.
- A Final Offer is made only upon successful completion of the background investigation and post-offer assessments.
