General Description
This is a seasonal position performing park operations and maintenance duties within City Park Areas under the direct supervision of the Parks Foreman & Assistant Parks Foreman.
Job Functions
Building & grounds maintenance, facility janitorial services, sport field maintenance, trail maintenance, litter control, road right-of-way maintenance & boulevard planting bed maintenance, and operation of department vehicles & equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of the methods, materials, tools & equipment commonly used in park maintenance & operations.
- Working knowledge of work hazards, proper personal protective gear (ppe), safety operations & practices commonly used in park operations & maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate, maintain & repair standard park equipment.
- Ability to understand & effectively carry out oral & written work instructions.
