What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks - Seasonal Crew Member position at City of Middleton?
Working knowledge of the methods, materials, tools & equipment commonly used in park maintenance & operations.
Working knowledge of work hazards, proper personal protective gear (ppe), safety operations & practices commonly used in park operations & maintenance.
Ability to safely operate, maintain & repair standard park equipment.
Ability to understand & effectively carry out oral & written work instructions.
Must be 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, possess steel-toe safety footwear & be able to perform physical requirements of position.
Previous landscaping, park operations & maintenance experience, and knowledge of commonly used tools & equipment is preferred.
Knowledge of operations and preventative maintenance procedures for safely operating park vehicles & equipment is preferred.
Completion of DNR UTV/ATV Safety Education Course is preferred.
