- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Generate and be able to present regular financial reports for management, Council and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of annual reports and audit documentation.
- Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes.
- Implement best practices for financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with IT and other relevant departments to optimize financial software applications.
- Collaborate with the Comptroller and finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CPFO).
