SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the general direction of the Director of Health for the City of Milford’s Health and Human Services Departments or designee, this position is responsible for all clerical functions for the department, as well as for preparing and maintaining the financial operations of the department. In addition, this position serves as receptionist for the department and performs related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and five (5) years of account-keeping experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
SCOPE OF EXAMINATION: There will be performance examinations that will test the ability to utilize various office automated software and applications required to perform the essential duties of the position.
