City of Nevada, Missouri is seeking a Finance Director. Primary duties: Perform banking and inventory reconciliations, manage department staff, prepare financial reports, assist City Manager with annual budget, maintain records of City’s assets, and prepare annual audit schedules. Carryout any other duties as may be assigned by the City Manager.
Home Rule City with a $16 million budget. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field. Would consider 10 years of proven and successful financial experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. Two years experience of governmental accounting preferred and two years of supervisory experience. Experience with InCode accounting software a plus.
