Job Description
The Section Chief of Lifecycle Management will oversee the development of comprehensive, long-term master plans for standalone facilities and consolidated groups of facilities. This key role will ensure optimal scope and balance of rehabilitation, repairs, and replacement. The successful candidate will work closely with members of the Capital Planning & Budget Section, Asset Management Section, and Collections and Plant Operations to drive continuous improvement efforts related to processes, workflows, and data/document management.

A valid New York State Professional Engineer License and four years of full-time experience in environmental engineering are required. A master's degree in environmental engineering from an accredited college will be accepted as equivalent to one year of the full-time experience in environmental engineering.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of professionals for all aspects of lifecycle management.
- Develop comprehensive, long-term master plans for specific facilities, for a consolidated group of facilities, and/or for wastewater process areas.
- Perform research and analyses to support master planning activities and business case development.
- Coordinate within BWT and throughout the Agency on a wide variety of issues pertaining to long-term planning.
