The City of Newport News is looking to add Equipment Operators to our Public Works, Waterworks and Parks & Recreation Departments. Depending on the current needs of each department, the type and level of Equipment Operators will vary. NOTE >
If you do not have a CDL license, but do have a valid VA DL and would like to be considered to be hired and then trained as a CDL driver, please apply for CONSTRUCTION MAINTENANCE WORKER.

Equipment Operator Specialist : Estimated Hiring Range : $45,109.45 - $51,260.74
