Key Responsibilities: Lead the charge in planning, coordinating, and supervising a wide range of fun and engaging activities, classes, and services for seniors.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the 60 Center, including staff supervision, facility management, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Develop and implement programs that empower seniors to stay active, social, and mentally sharp! Assess the needs of the community, adapting programs to match the interests and challenges of our seniors.

Proficient in using personal computers, office software, and recreational equipment.

Valid Oregon Driver’s License at the time of hire.
First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Gerontology or Parks and Recreation Management.
- Experience in managing a recreation facility.
- Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP).

The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility, including the ability to frequently lift or move materials up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift or move materials up to 60 pounds. The position requires the ability to operate a motorized vehicle. Manual dexterity and coordination are required approximately 30% of the time to operate such equipment as computers, keyboards, telephones, standard office equipment, and recreational equipment. The position requires the mobility to interact with and use parks and recreation equipment.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
In the performance of job duties, the following tools and/or equipment may be used: multi-line phone system, personal computer including word processing, spreadsheets, and data base software, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, and other related office tools and equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work location is primarily indoors where most work occurs in an office/recreation center with frequent interruptions.
