ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

- Part-Time/Temporary Position – This position is a part time/temporary position and DOES NOT include health or medical benefits. Hours for this position will not exceed 938 per calendar year.
- Pay Considerations – The hourly pay for this position is $14.00
Work Schedule – Monday - Thursday 1pm - 6pm, work hours may vary depending on the worksite’s needs. May be working an average of 18 hours per week. - Environment – Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50* pounds unassisted.
THE ROLE
Under direct supervision, carries out a variety of administrative duties, including managing mail and package distribution services at City Hall, providing customer service to visitors, and offering support to various city departments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, and
- One (1) year related work experience.
Licenses and Certifications
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Nevada state driver’s license/identification credential, and maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
SELECTION PROCESS

- Pre-Employment Screening – Selected candidates for this position are subject to a pre-employment screening which includes but is not limited to local & state criminal history check; federal criminal history check via submission of fingerprints; drug screening; and a Child Abuse & Neglect Registry clearance for applicants 18 years of age or above. *IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Background check processing may take 2 to 3 months to complete.
