What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Technician position at City of North Richland Hills?
The purpose of this position is to perform technical work involving the maintenance and reporting of financial accounting data. This includes maintenance of appropriate accounts, ledgers, journals, registers and other financial records. Other duties may include, reconciliation of various financial statements and documents, processing various transactions for payment of invoices and expense reports, processing transactions for recording of cash and adjusting receivables, processing transactions related to fixed assets, and preparing standard reports concerning financial operations, and year-end schedules for auditors. This position does not provide direction to other employees.
