What are the responsibilities and job description for the Library Associate - Part Time position at City of North Richland Hills?
The purpose of this position is to assist library patrons in the use of library services. This is accomplished by registering new patrons; providing an orientation on the use of the library; assisting patrons with checking materials in and out; maintaining patron accounts; shelving; providing one-on-one assistance to individuals needing reference assistance, helping with computer applications, accessing the internet or using library databases; and resolving patron service issues. Other duties include assisting with developing and offering library events and classes, maintaining excellent customer service skills, and interacting with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees.
