What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Relations Specialist - Part-Time -20 position at City of Northglenn?
The Northglenn Recreation Center is seeking an energetic, courteous, customer-focused individual one part-time position 10-19/hrs. a week on our Guest Services team. This position will support the day-to-day operations of the recreation facility and provide information to guests regarding City of Northglenn recreation facilities, programs, services, and events. Primary duty of the position is to provide a clean, safe, and helpful environment for users of the facility.
Hours/days: Primarily closing hours during the weekdays and weekend availability. This position requires scheduling flexibility and has the possibility of unique scheduling days from week to week.
Delivers prompt and professional solutions to both external and internal customer inquiries through face-to-face, phone, and email interactions. Inquiries will focus on the services, programs, and activities offered by the facility, as well as the entire Parks, Recreation, and Culture Department.
Welcomes and greets patrons in a timely manner, engaging and directing them, as needed.
Provides quality service through the development of relationships with facility users, program participants, community members, City employees, and numerous partner organizations.
Assists in the oversight of facility and Guest Services operations to include the customer service experience of members, guests, and others utilizing the facility.
Helps with reservation requests and the scheduling of internal and external bookings.
Processes a variety of financial transactions and responsible for cash drawer reconciliation.
Performs light custodial work, when needed.

Must be at least18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent. One or more years of previous customer service experience.
Experience in a recreation or fitness setting preferred.
Current certification in Community CPR/AED/First Aid or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software preferred.
Duties may require standing, walking, and sitting for long periods; handling and operating objects and equipment, reaching outward and above shoulders to carry, pull, push, or lift to 50 pounds unassisted.
Hiring Range: $17.22 - $18.00 DOQ
Full Salary Range: $17.22 - $22.39
