Capital Projects Manager
Responsibilities
-Plans and administers Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects within the City, with a detailed schedule for projects, which includes milestone dates for permitting, design, bidding, contract award, and contract completion.
-Administers project contracts for the repair of water, wastewater infrastructure projects.
-Provides monthly project updates, reviews invoices and pay aps and other Project Management duties.
-Prepares requests for proposals for professional engineering services, reviews proposals, selects professional consultant, prepares, negotiates and evaluates contracts, and monitors completed work.
-Prepares budgets for permitting design, construction, and contingencies for projects.
-Manage projects with grant funding and complex funding sources.
Experience
-Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
-Five (5) years experience managing construction or design projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,995.20 - $105,390.00 per year
