Performs management and implementation of survey data collection for city real estate and construction projects using technologies like LiDAR, drones, and hydrographic mapping systems. Coordinates with field staff and processes data with specialized software to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards. Maintains survey equipment and collaborates on public works data standards under the supervision of the City Surveyor. Reports on project progress and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and six (6) years of survey data management and GIS expertise or an equivalent combination of education and experience. FAA Part 107 license must be obtained within 90 days of employment, at the employee's own expense and effort. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Experience in performing drone photogrammetry projects, LiDAR scanning projects, bathymetric/hydrographic mapping of lakes, and processing of photogrammetry and LiDAR collected data highly desired.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
