About the Job:
The City of Orono is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Golf Course Groundskeeper Assistant. As a groundskeeper assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, raking, hauling garbage, and other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent.
You will work independently to complete projects in a safe and timely manner, ensuring that the golf course appears well-maintained and is safe for patrons. Additionally, you may be assigned to assist with special events and projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Mowing, raking, and hauling garbage as assigned
- Performing daily maintenance tasks such as edging and watering
- Assisting with special events and projects as needed
Requirements:
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds
