Essential Functions:
- Oversee private rentals and room reservations to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service to rental groups and address any needs or concerns
- Collect and dispose of refuse in a timely manner
- Vacuum and maintain cleanliness of event spaces as needed
- Clean and restock restroom facilities regularly
- Ensure the building is secure by turning off lights, locking doors, and checking windows
- Assist with moving and setting up furniture and equipment for events or rentals
- Maintain a log of building deficiencies and report any issues observed
- Assist with setting up lighting, sound systems, and projectors as required for events or presentations
Other specific job duties per location will be discussed during the interview process.
Related Functions:
- May make minor repairs and set up rooms for meetings and events
- Pick up trash and lost-and-found items within and around the facility
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required
(Limited Hourly employees are non-union and non-benefitted employees. They are limited to working 416 hours per fiscal year.)
Desired Qualifications:
Two years’ experience in basic Audio-Visual work.
- Sufficient education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the following knowledge, skills and abilities, which would typically be acquired through:
- Two years’ experience in custodial service or recent history of responsible work experience.
- Understanding the operation and repair of all custodial-related materials.
- Possession of a valid California Driver's License.
