Duties: The primary responsibility of the Guest Services position is to maintain the cleanliness and overall guest experience within the facility by assisting with party room cleaning, bag checks, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, and event setup and teardown. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors. The Guest Services position is a seasonal role within the City of Pasadena Parks & Recreation Department. Maintain the cleanliness of party rooms by clearing tables, wiping surfaces, sweeping, and mopping floors after each event. Assist with bag checks at facility entrances to ensure compliance with safety policies. Regularly clean and restock restrooms, ensuring they remain sanitary and stocked with necessary supplies. Collect and properly dispose of trash throughout the facility, including high-traffic areas. Assist with the setup and teardown of special events, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with directions, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Monitor facility areas for cleanliness and safety concerns, reporting any issues to management. Support the enforcement of facility rules and regulations, ensuring guests adhere to policies. Assist with additional facility-related tasks as assigned by the Aquatics Manager or other supervisory staff.
Qualifications: N/A PREFERRED: Previous experience in customer service, event support, or janitorial work is a plus.
