Job title: Street Maintenance Worker

Salary: 14.42 per hr. Entry level
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
(Subject to Dept. Director & Supervisor discretion - hours may vary)

Role and Responsibilities:
To perform various duties as instructed relating to the maintenance of roads and drainage systems. Work tasks include street sweeping, cleaning, and repairing catch basins, installing street signs, traffic control, tree trimming, and ditch maintenance. Equipment necessary to be operated to include said duties, including but not limited to, pickup trucks, small and large dump trucks, various street equipment, chain saws, brush chippers, and street sweeper.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year progressively responsible experience in streets maintenance, and storm drainage cleaning, and the ability to perform labor-intensive work within difficult environmental conditions to include frequent lifting, pulling, and pushing of 50 lbs., or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Physical.
- Must possess a valid Texas Class C Driver's License. High School/GED and any certifications related to streets
