What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance - Streets position at CITY OF PLEASANTON?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs maintenance duties of patching potholes and utility cuts for water and sewer taps and or leaks throughout city
- Participates in road construction, maintenance and street repairs
- Repair and/or replace streets signs, including post and hardware, to insure safety and regulations are met
- Mow, weed eat and pick up debris from city streets, right of ways, drainages and state highways
- Clean drainages which consist of tree trimming, mowing and weed eating
- Removes debris from drainages, city streets and state highways
- Assists in proper placements of barricades and signs for proper road and lane closures
- Help pull traffic control when needed
- Trims tree limbs throughout city to ensure safety and visibility of street signs
- May call for grounds maintenance and or landscaping functions
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required
