Primary responsibilities may include :
- Administration of Parks and Recreation contracts including, but not limited to, Right of Ways contract, City Hall campuses and Trails.
- Oversight of the Parks and Recreation open space areas, natural resources, washes, mountain and river trails, and other numerous related assets.
- Selecting, training, supervising and evaluating staff engaged in city landscape.
- Resolving customer service issues.
- Managing expenditures, monitoring resources, preparing and delivering presentations of budgeting and forecasting.

The purpose of this position is to support the development and implementation of best management practices in irrigation and contract landscape maintenance of City properties, streetscapes, parks and trail corridors. Develop programs for management and landscape maintenance contract administration including accountability measures, safety standards and innovative environmental procedures.
