Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school graduation or equivalency.
- Experience: 9-12 months experience. Moderate previous experience required in the same or similar previous positions.
- Physical Demands: Work requires heavy physical exertion and effort.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Minimum valid Arizona Class "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) upon hire.
- Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and/or Tanker and HazMAT endorsement may be required within twelve (12) months of hire depending upon assignment.

- Heavy equipment in the completion of assigned tasks such as excavating, trenching, street cleaning, and delivering refuse and recycling materials to the landfill.
- Various types of solid waste equipment, including front load, side load, rear load, and roll-off collection vehicles.
- An articulated tractor.
