The City of Peoria is seeking an energetic, self-driven individual to join the 2ndshift of the Butler Water Reclamation Operations Team. The Butler Plant operates 24 / 7, and this role involves shift work, including weekends, holidays, standby duties, and on-call responsibilities.
The Butler Water Reclamation Facility is a state-of-the-art 10 MGD Membrane Bioreactor Facility.
This position is classified as the second level of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations. Key responsibilities include :
- Monitoring, operating, and performing preventive maintenance on treatment plants and remote sites.
- Conducting routine inspections and identifying issues with processes and equipment at the Butler WRF and Influent Pump Station.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by the Lead Operator or Supervisor.
