-Two years of experience conducting construction or plumbing inspections
-A Master or Journeyman Plumbing License
-A State of Texas Plumbing Inspector license (obtain within 6 months of hire)
-Knowledge of national, regional and City plumbing and mechanical codes and ordinances
Additionally, consider applying for the Senior Plumbing Inspector position (the advanced journey-level classification in the Plumbing Inspector series) if you have:
-Three years of plumbing inspection experience
-ICC Residential and Commercial Plumbing Inspector Certifications
-ICC Mechanical Inspector Certification
