Performs a variety of manual and clerical tasks involved in trimming and removal of trees to prevent interference with electric lines and stations. Also performs tasks involved in the construction and maintenance of the electric power distribution system. This position works under the general supervision of the Electrical Operations Manager.

WORKING CONDITIONSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee typically works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The employee works in high, precarious places or below grade and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud in field settings, and moderately quiet in office settings.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand. The employee is required to walk; talk or hear; sit; climb or balance; climb stairs: stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
