- High school graduate or GED equivalency required.
- One (1) year of paid or volunteer experience or a combination of both in a recreational field or tutoring. College students in fields of Kinesiology, math, science, and language arts are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Must possess and maintain a valid California Class "C" driver's license and have a good driving record.

- Respond to the public; answer inquiries and give information pertaining to programs that are offered.
- Interact with co-workers at all levels of the City of Pomona and the public in a collaborative and customer service-oriented manner.
- This position may perform other related duties as assigned that may not be listed.
- Providing support in all areas of recreation/Outdoor & Active/ special event and parks as needed.
