The City of Portage is seeking a professional Engineer to perform engineering activities related to project planning, design, plan review, and inspection of both public and private sanitary sewers, water, streets, and storm sewer improvements. The ability to prepare plans and estimates of infrastructure projects is required.

The ideal candidate will possess a BS Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of civil engineering experience, including soil erosion and project management. The Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is required. PE certification is preferred.

The salary range is $57,800- $78,200 and is commensurate with experience and offered with an excellent benefits package. Onsite position. This position has the potential for advancement. The hours are Monday through Thursday 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM and Friday 8 AM-noon.
