Under general direction, responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. Introduction to patrons swim strokes/dive fundamentals, confidence in the water, and water safety.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Duties may include: Provide leadership at pool site.Recognize and respond effectively in emergencies.Communicate with supervisors, parents, participants, and staff members in a professional and positive attitude at all times.Enforce all safety rules and programs regulations, policies and procedures.Perform a variety of tasks incidental to the operation of the programs.Participate in in-service training sessions.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Requirements: Certified in Lifeguard Training and First Aid.
