IT NETWORK TECHNICIAN - JETPORT
IT Network Technician
Sign-on bonus of $1,500 and relocation available to external candidates.
The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (37.5 hours per week).
The Portland International Jetport seeks an IT Network Technician to join its growing IT Department. This position is responsible for technical work supporting a wide range of network infrastructure within the Jetport’s network.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages and administers PWM network Schema.
- Participates in addressing network vulnerabilities and other information security activities.
- Configures network switches and protocols, including DHCP, LLDP, and SNMP.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Six years of education and/or experience including the following.
- Graduation from a post-secondary degree program in IT or other applicable computer science.
- Tier-2 (or higher) support, service desk technician, or field engineering role (minimum of three years preferred).
- Systems Administrator or NOC role (minimum of three years preferred)
- CompTIA Network , CCNA, Security Certifications or equivalent preferred.
- Working knowledge of switching, routing, wireless and firewall technologies.
- Working knowledge of Google productivity tools and/or MS Office
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues about technical issues
- Experience with network diagramming
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, City staff, contractors, vendors and members of the general public.
- Successful completion of a TSA criminal history records check in accordance with TSR Part 1542 to acquire and maintain an airport security badge.
- Must possess a valid State Class C driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.

Salary & Benefits:
This is a union position, ProTech (Grade 8), non-exempt - $1192.13/wk. ($31.79/hr.) Starting wage is negotiable based on qualifications and years of experience
