Ceasefire employs a comprehensive and collaborative approach, partnering with government agencies, community-based organizations, neighborhoods, community members, and faith organizations to implement effective, evidence-based strategies.
The Ceasefire Program Operates Proactively And Holistically, Utilizing a Harm Reduction Framework That Is Grounded In Data-driven Strategies And Proven Best Practices. The Program Has Two Primary Goals
A key component of the Ceasefire Program’s success is the maintenance of clear boundaries between service providers, and law enforcement. These boundaries are essential for fostering trust, ensuring effective service delivery, and building strong relationships with program participants.
Position Summary
The Ceasefire Program Manager oversees the implementation and coordination of the Ceasefire Program within the Public Safety Service Area (PSSA). This position ensures the program operates in alignment with evidence-based practices and achieves its goals of reducing gun violence and recidivism.
Key responsibilities include managing case management systems, ensuring timely referrals, and accurately tracking data through the program’s database. The Ceasefire Program Manager will facilitate communication and collaboration with community-based organizations (CBOs), internal and external stakeholders, local jurisdictions, law enforcement agencies, and educational institutions. Regular internal meetings with CBOs and stakeholders are essential for coordinating services and ensuring program fidelity.
The Ceasefire Program Manager will also engage with the community to promote awareness of the program, answer questions, and build trust among residents and partner organizations. This position plays a key role in strengthening relationships, educating stakeholders about the program’s objectives, and facilitating collaboration to address gun violence.
This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills to manage day-to-day operations effectively while driving the success of the Ceasefire Program.

- Facilitate regular communication and meetings with community-based organizations (CBOs), internal and external stakeholders, local jurisdictions, law enforcement, and educational institutions to ensure program fidelity and successful service delivery.
- Conduct community outreach to promote awareness of the Ceasefire Program, answer questions, and build trust and understanding of the program’s goals and services among residents and partner organizations.
- Attend and participate in meetings with community outreach workers, prosecution, probation, and agencies providing opportunities, to discuss recent situations and coordinate efforts.
- Perform research and data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Prepare complex analytical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommend improvements to program strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between partner agencies, fostering collaboration and coordination to align resources, address gaps, and implement comprehensive strategies to reduce gun violence and recidivism.

Qualifications
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, law enforcement, educational institutions, and community members.
- Experience with case management practices, including referrals, tracking systems, and database management.
- Knowledge of evidence-based violence prevention and intervention strategies.
- Experience conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing clear, complex reports and presentations.
- Knowledge of research and data analysis methods, including the ability to evaluate program outcomes and prepare analytical reports.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with a wide range of audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, social work, criminal justice, public health, or a related field.
