Job Appointment : Full time, Regular
Work Schedule : Monday Friday, 8am 5pm. Alternate schedule may be available.
Work Location : This position has an exception to work remotely full-time. However, there will be instances when it is necessary to come onsite for work (with advance notice). Remote work must be performed within Oregon or Washington. For more information, click here .

Position Summary :
The Senior Network Engineer (Information Systems Technical Analyst (ISTA) VI) is a strategic team member within the Enterprise Network Team. This position will leverage network engineering background to support emergency service, multiple data centers, and a wide-area network that extends beyond the Citys boundaries. We believe the City of Portland is a fantastic place to be a network engineer due to the variety of duties and technologies, the feeling of making a difference in our local community, and the opportunities to grow yourself professionally.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will :

The network team loves learning new things and sharing knowledge with other team members. We work together to design, implement, troubleshoot, and improve the City of Portlands network and services.
