Under supervision, our Equipment Mechanic, Senior services and performs mechanical repairs on City vehicles and a wide variety of motorized equipment; performs tire repairs; and follows good housekeeping and safety practices in the work areas. Services and repairs fleet vehicles and electronic devices, and documents work performed. Your work plays an integral part in keeping our Public Works, Fire, Police, and other City teams moving and safe. You will perform (and certify) mandated smog checks, routine maintenance, BIT inspections, and always follow safety protocols. Annual Salary : for this classification is as high as $91,420.56 at the top of the range, with an additional approved Cost of Living Adjustment of 4% on 1 / 1 / 2025.
