Hiring Rate: $18.32 hourly
Full Pay Range: $18.32 - $27.49 hourly
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm
3-day weekends Friday - Sunday

Position Overview:
Responsible for performing general labor/crew member duties in support of maintenance projects such as streets, concrete and drainage projects. Work is performed with direct supervision. Performs related duties as required.High School diploma or GED preferred. No experience required; related maintenance and/or construction experience preferred.Valid Texas Class "C" driver's license required. Must have and maintain a good driving record in accordance with the driving standards as established by the City of Rowlett. Must report all traffic citations to his/her departmental Director or his/her designee within two working days of receipt.
Must be able to obtain a Class "A" CDL with Tanker endorsement within six (6) months of employment.
Must reside within a 1-hour response time from the Public Works Facility, employee will have (6) months from employment date in which to relocate. Will be subject to covering/handling first-call or back-up call when assigned.
Salary : $38,113 - $57,171
